Klip & Kut Lawn, Inc., was launched by Missouri native Kurt Hatfield, who moved to Brevard in 1996 with his family.

Deciding he didn’t want to work for anyone but himself, in May 1997, he started his lawn care business at a grass-roots level. Without any advertising, Klip & Kut flourished by word of mouth, and the company now services hundreds of accounts weekly, in addition to providing landscaping services.

It remains a family-owned business, with Kurt’s oldest son, Nick, serving as the company’s manager, and his daughter-in-law, Mackenzie, handling the bookkeeping business side of things.  

We all believe in treating customers equitably and fairly, while delivering the look they’ll love. We believe in what we do – and want our customers to be delighted by our services, every step of the way.

During Kurt’s years of building his business, one thing became abundantly clear to him – while he loves being able to beautifully maintain Brevard County yards, his true passion is landscaping. Kurt loves the challenge and creativity that come with designing yards – especially when his customers are wowed by the finished project. There’s no greater satisfaction to him than transforming a hum-ho property into an outdoor oasis. Including his own.
